Monastic Prayer Schedule
“Let us stand to sing the psalms in such a way that our minds are in harmony with our voices.”
-Rule of St. Benedict, Chapter 19:7
For 1500 years, the chief work of Benedictine monks has been their prayer for the Church and the world. This work is carried out daily by the monks of Conception Abbey in their daily cycle of communal and private prayer. People of all faiths are always welcome to join the monks for prayer in the Basilica.
