Conception Abbey Guest Center will offer new “Days of Reflection”
Something new is happening at the Conception Abbey Guest Center. Starting this fall, we will offer a series of Days of Reflection retreats facilitated mostly by Fr. Donald Gibbs, OSB. Each “Day of Reflection” will center on a different topic of spirituality or liturgical season. Starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m., each reflection day will include Mass with the monks of Conception Abbey, lunch, and time for private prayer and reflection.
“For several years we’ve been offering days like these in Advent and Lent, with good response each time. With this series, we want to expand this popular opportunity. We hope to reach out to more people and that people from the surrounding area will take advantage of these days,” said Fr. Peter Ullrich, OSB, Director of the Abbey Guest Center.

- September 20, 2017 – Praying the Our Father – A Spirituality of Discipleship
- October 18, 2017 – The Rosary: The Gospel On a String
- November 8, 2017 – Grief: Recalling Memories That Heal
- December 6, 2017 – Advent Day of Reflection
