Monastic Vocation Visit

The best way to discover what monastic life is like and if God is calling you to consider a monastic vocation is to visit a monastery. Conception Abbey offers multiple ways that you can do this.

Monastic Experience Retreat

Monastic Experience Retreats are offered throughout the year to give men ages 18-35 an opportunity to visit and discern at Conception Abbey with other men interested in monastic life. You will spend your time working and praying alongside the monastic community and have opportunities for private prayer and reflection. Visit the Monastery

Schedule a personal visit to the monastery for a time that best suits your schedule. During your visit, you will meet and talk with the Vocation Director and other monks of the community. You will be able to see what monastic life at Conception Abbey is like and pray and work alongside the monks.
