Alumni & Open House
This past weekend was our annual Alumni Reunion Weekend. We welcome more than 100 alumni. Many of them were eager to return to see the newly renovated monastery, a capital campaign to which many of them contributed generously.
Bishop Pates (Diocese of Des Moines) was the Guest Speaker for Alumni Day and he also celebrated Mass for the seminary and monastery communities.

Seminarians and alumni had the opportunity to take a tour of the monastery.

Friday evening we hosted the first annual Alumni Volleyball Tournament. The freshmen, sophomore, juniors, seniors & pre-theology students had a team, as well as the alumni in the 5 team round robin tournament.
The junior class wore all black clothes. They finished 2nd overall, with the senior class winning it all.

Tuesday evening, the Feast of Sts. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael was the annual open house for St. Michael Hall. The freshmen and sophomore floors were open for other seminarians and monks to take tours. Many of the men shared their musical talents.
