Conception Abbey Coffins

The monks and employees of Conception Abbey have traditionally hand-crafted the coffins in which our monks are buried. We wish to share with you the same craftsmanship for the burial of you or your loved ones. 

About the Coffins
Conception Abbey coffins are a hybrid design, square with a full lid that is removable and not hinged. The coffin’s lid is uniquely designed, similar to a straight mansard roof with an overlapping flat top instead of a complete lid. Conception coffins also have unique tapered rectangular walls.

Our coffins are made of pine, unlined, unstained, and sealed with polyurethane varnish. Included with the coffin are a sheet and pillow. Handles on the side make it easy to carry.

Three sizes are available: small, medium, and large. More information is available upon request.

$1,750 as pictured below + cost of delivery

Delivery
The maximum radius of delivery is 150 miles. The cost to deliver is $2 per mile one way. Included in this radius is Des Moines, Iowa; Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska; Topeka, Kansas; Harrisonville, Kansas City, Warrensburg, and Kirksville, Missouri.
