The monks are responsible for getting the mail to the various departments on campus. The Post Office is conveniently placed on the northwest corner of campus, attached to the Printery House. The mail arrives around lunch time and one of the monks is assigned to pick it up from the Post Office after Day Prayer and take the mail bags to their designated locations, which include the Library, Development Office, Seminary, and Monastery. Once the mail is taken to the monastery’s coffee room, the mail is sorted into the individual mail boxes for the monks.
Above: Postulant Eric gives the “thumbs up” as he takes one of the mail bags out of the Jeep into St. Raphael Hall.
Below: Br. Blaise sorts the mail for the monks, putting it into one of the individually marked mailboxes.
